Using the Plans Bot

1. What is the Plans Bot

The Furry Plans Bot is what powers RSVPs for Shutterpaws events. You can use it three ways — the website, our Telegram bot, and our Discord bot — and whichever you use, your RSVP history, payment status, and profile follow you if your accounts are linked together. 2. Signing in on the website

Your Account page uses passwordless sign-in — enter your email address and we’ll send you a one-time sign-in link. There’s no password to remember or reset. A sign-in link is valid for 15 minutes and can only be used once; if it expires, just request a new one.

Once signed in, your Account page shows whether a Telegram and/or Discord account is connected, and lists every event you’ve RSVP’d to across all platforms.

3. Linking your Telegram and Discord accounts

Linking connects your Telegram and/or Discord identity to your website account so they all share one RSVP history and payment record.

1. On Telegram or Discord, send the bot the /link command.
2. The bot replies with a short code (e.g. K9P69M6N) that’s valid for 10 minutes.
3. Go to shutterpaws.pics/link/ and sign in with your email if you aren’t already.
4. Enter the code. You’ll see a confirmation naming the account the code came from — only confirm if you’re the one who ran /link.
5. Once confirmed, that platform is linked to your website account for good.

You can link both a Telegram and a Discord account to the same website account. If a platform identity is already linked to a different website account, the bot or website will tell you it’s already linked instead of offering a code — see the next section.

4. Merging duplicate accounts

If you’ve been using Telegram and Discord separately and now want to combine them, linking (above) is the merge — there’s no separate "merge" step. When you link a second platform, its identity and RSVP history are folded into your website account.

If you already RSVP’d to the same event separately from each platform before linking them, the higher-status RSVP wins (e.g. "Going" beats "Maybe," and a confirmed paid spot is never lost or demoted) — you won’t lose a paid ticket or get bumped back to a payment-pending state because of a merge.

If linking says a code or account is "already linked" and that’s not what you expected, don’t keep retrying — reach out to an event organizer so they can look into it. If you’ve ended up with two separate accounts and can no longer get into one of them (e.g. you lost access to the email or platform account it’s tied to), an organizer can merge the old one into the account you’re using now, so its RSVP history and payment status come along with it.

5. RSVPing to events

However you RSVP — a button on a Telegram or Discord event post, or the RSVP option on the website — it’s the same RSVP once your accounts are linked. Changing your response on one platform (e.g. marking yourself "Going" on Discord after RSVPing "Maybe" on Telegram) updates the same record everywhere; it won’t create a duplicate or reset a payment you’ve already made.

Some events require payment for a confirmed spot. You can pay from whichever platform you RSVP on — the website, or a DM/prompt from the Telegram or Discord bot after you RSVP — you’re not limited to the website for payment. If you’re bringing guests, each person in your party (you and any named guests) can be on a different ticket type; you’ll be asked to pick one for each.

6. Getting help

If something looks wrong — a missing RSVP, a linking code that won’t work, or a payment that isn’t reflected — contact an event organizer rather than repeating the linking flow, since repeated attempts can be harder to untangle than a single report.
