Plans Bot on Discord
RSVP to events and manage your plans from Discord
Last updated: July 17, 2026
1. Getting started
The Shutterpaws Plans Bot posts events into our Discord server and supports slash commands there for viewing and RSVPing. Event creation and detailed management happen on Telegram — see Plans Bot on Telegram — but you can fully RSVP and track your plans from Discord.
See Using the Plans Bot for how to sign in on the website and link this account to Telegram or the website so your RSVPs and payments follow you everywhere.
2. RSVPing to an event
Use the buttons on a posted event card, or the slash command:
/event rsvp id:<event ID> status:<Going | Maybe | Not going> guests:<number of guests>
id is the event’s ID shown on its card; status autocompletes as you type; guests is optional if you’re
bringing others.
For an event that requires payment, the bot will show you a ticket-type picker. If you’re bringing guests, you’ll be asked to pick a ticket type for each one individually — your party doesn’t have to all be on the same ticket type.
3. Commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/event view id:<event ID> |
View an event’s details (autocompletes event IDs as you type) |
/event rsvp id:<event ID> status:<...> guests:<n> |
RSVP to an event |
/going |
List your upcoming RSVPs (up to 20) |
/link |
Get a code to link this Discord account to your website account |
/upgrade |
Upgrade a confirmed, paid RSVP to a pricier ticket tier |
4. Changing your RSVP
Run /event rsvp again with a different status for the same event, or tap a different button on the event
card — your latest response is what counts, and it won’t create a duplicate entry or affect a payment you’ve
already made if the accounts are linked.
5. Upgrading a paid ticket
If you’ve already paid for an event and want a pricier ticket type, run /upgrade. It lists your confirmed,
paid RSVPs that have a more expensive tier available — tap one, then pick a tier to start the upgrade. You
stay confirmed at your current tier until the extra amount is paid.
