We’re a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit hosting high-quality themed photoshoots and furry events across the Maryland and D.C. region, about once a month. Fursuiters and photographers meet, make great photos together, and build a genuine community people love coming back to.

Who we are
A volunteer-led non-profit, and the region’s premier organization for connecting fursuiters and photographers. We handle the logistics — crowd flow, on-site safety, hydration and cooling — and work with community partners to grow the variety and scale of each event.
How to join
Events are announced in the Telegram channel first, roughly monthly. RSVP there or on the event page.
What an account gets you
A Shutterpaws account is free and optional. Signing in lets you RSVP to an event and change your answer later, see everything you are going to in one place, suggest a location for a future shoot, and link Telegram or Discord so our Plans Bot recognizes you.
Two ways to sign in
We can email you a one-time sign-in link, so there is no password to remember. Or you can sign in with Google, which skips the emailed link entirely. Staff and partner organizations can sign in the same way with their organization’s Google account. Either way we only ever receive your email address, and our Privacy Policy covers what we store and why.
