Join Fur the ‘More and Shutterpaws as we bring some fluff to the 2026 Baltimore Pride Parade.
Meet Time
We will begin staging at 9:30 AM at W. 21st St. & Maryland Ave. The parade starts at Noon, and you must be there no later than 11:30 AM.
Parade Logistics
The parade takes place on N. Charles Street and runs from North Avenue to 27th Street (0.7 miles). During the parade, there will be no shade available, so please make sure to consider this when deciding what to wear. Remember, a fursuit is not required to participate in this event. Our group will have two vehicles in the parade, with air conditioning available for anyone that needs to take a little break, and a trailer for people to sit on if you require mobility assistance. Water, electrolyte powders, and fursuit straws will be available, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own hydration as well.
There will not be any storage at the parade site, so please make sure you only bring what you can carry.
Volunteering
Want to help make the magic happen? We’re looking for a few volunteers (in and out of fursuit) to help make sure things run smoothly. We’ll be looking for fursuiters to hold the Fur the ‘More and Shutterpaws banner at the front of our battalion, and non-suiters to follow along as handlers to make sure everyone is staying cool and hydrated.

Parking/Public Transit
There is no designated parking area for parade participants, and we recommend securing a parking spot ahead of time using SpotHero to guarantee you’ll have a place to park. Road closures along the parade route begin at 10:30 AM; if you’re arriving after that time, expect detours and additional delays, and plan your route accordingly so you can still arrive by 11:30 AM.
Be aware the parade does not end near where it starts, so be mindful of the parade route when deciding where to park. The staging area is also a short 10-minute walk from Baltimore Penn Station (Amtrak/MARC/Light Rail).
